But if the partner has own unhealed issues, he doesn’t change so much with love too. There’s another point. If only one person is doing all effort to evolve, work towards the relation, and give love and doesn’t get anything in return, that’s not sustainable. Somewhere you will get exhausted. Which unfulfilled need drained you so much?

May be the unfulfilled need which has drained you was not to be or cannot be fulfilled by your partner. It was to be fulfilled by you. Outside gives us happiness and enjoyment and it is ok but when we understand ourselves and fill our love tanks ourselves then it gives us peace and tripti.
So sometimes we feel that the other is drowning in mental war but the reality is we are drowning in mental war and he came to make us realize where we are absent with ourselves and what we need to do.
So fill your love tank first. Outside frequency will change as inside frequency will change.
