Pitru paksh 2021 is starting from tomorrow , Sept 20th.
These are specific days when respect is paid to the ones who have left their bodies from the same gotra/ family.
There are lot of emotions attached to Shradhs, as this is a matter of loved ones.
All the Vedas, Upnishads, Bhagwat Gita, Ashtavakra Gita, Guru Granth Sahib ji all the scriptures says that We are much much beyond this body, mind, thoughts , beliefs etc. We are huge.
We are an essence and part of the same essence which we call GOD. There is oneness and no duality.
There is no death. It is only we visit here to feel human emotions and physical life and we leave after some time.
Even there is no time. Time is man made to make human life easy and it is based on Earth’s rotation.
We need to wear body to enjoy these human emotions as body comes under some laws and it can give us the experience which we came for.
As an essence we are Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient, beautifully placed, loved and nourished in that Supreme light.
We are the Universe. We are everywhere. We were, we are and we will be always present.
The gyan of Knowing true Self is Atma Sakshatkar.
The loved ones who go to the other side are always present in their essence form and when we call, they bless us, help us and open our ways.
When nothing helps then they help and this is the reason there is no prayer or anushthan which can be done without pitru aavahan.
This all is restamped by Quatum physics. It says that we are 99.99% energy and .0011% matter.
There are some rituals which are followed in every religion as a respect for the loved ones who have crossed over to the other side.
These days are not considered auspicious to start any new project.
In Hinduism 15 days of Pitru paksha are specially to pay respect to our ancestors and recieve their blessings.
Reading Bhagwat Gita, Offering black sesame water to Sun, feeding crows, dogs, cows or needy people is appreciated. All kind of donations are considered good. Donation of black sesame seeds, darbha, tulsi and rice balls for ancestors are included as an important part of the ritual. Tarpan is done before every donation.
It is written that donate to Brahman. By Brahman they mean a person who is on the path of Brahm – good deeds and good conduct.
I feel food can be given to any hungry person who feels that fulfillment after eating food. we don’t need to confirm whether this food has reached to our ancestors or not. The satisfaction which we will feel by feeding hungry person will give peace to our soul. That is important.
Our ancestors are very happy in their true Consciousness form. Shining in their light.
Clothes can be given to anyone who is in need of that. Giving to needy is always shreshtha karma.
Every month donating 10% of our total income for the benefit of poor and needy is mentioned in Dharma also.
Help from your overflow and spend time in prayers.
